The OECD secretary general is a man

I am indebted to John Christensen of the TJN who has gently pointed out that Angel Gurría, secretary general of the OECD, is a man. I have changed "she" to "he" here but the newsletters that also referenced the recent OECD meeting have gone out with "she said". I owe him an apology. A friend has told me that thinking a man is a woman is an easy mistake to make if the quote is "particularly incisive, intelligent and succinct".
